OUR MISSION STATEMENT

We the people of God in the parish of Saint John Berchman's of Galena, Alaska; blessed with a variety of backgrounds and talents, strive to be a living reflection of the Universal Church. We are anointed in the Spirit to be give witness to Christ message of love, as a concerned community, aware of the needs and talents of each other.

In the spirit of Jesus, justice, mercy and love, we dedicate ourselves to celebrating Christ presence. We affirm our commitment to serving all God's people, creating and maintaining a place of worship, fostering spiritual growth, and offering religious education and social fellowship.

As a sacramental people, we do the work of the Church as we share our living faith by proclaiming the Gospel in word and by example
